Mud Run MS! September 10, 2011
The Pink Ladies are mixing things up a bit in 2011! We have had so much fun and made so many memories participating in the 50 mile MS Challenge Walk, but this year, we are taking on a new challenge: The Mud Run MS! Our goal is to get as many team members as possible to make this year the biggest ever Team Pink Ladies!
What is Mud Run MS?
Mud Run is a 10K race (approximately six miles) through a military-style obstacle course made of mud.
Mud Run attracts people of all skill levels and is the fastest-growing adventure race in the country. Whether you run in the mud or watch contestants slip, slide and slosh their way to victory, it's an experience you can't miss.
The Pink Ladies plan to compete in the recreational division, so we will not be competing.
Where is the Mud Run held?
Mud Run Twin Cities will be held at the Trollhaugen Ski and Snowboard Resort in Dresser, Wis. Located in Polk County, Trollhaugen Resort is approximately 50 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
How much does it cost to participate?
Registration begins at $40, and participants are required to raise a minimum of $100 in donations, which helps support the nearly 10,000 people living with MS in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and drives research for a cure.
